Ballymena BID Celebrates Our Treat Your Teacher Winners
As another school year comes to an end, Ballymena Means wanted to take the opportunity to celebrate some of the incredible teachers and school staff who make such a difference every day.
Our Treat Your Teacher competition invited pupils to nominate a teacher or member of school staff who has gone above and beyond throughout the year. We were overwhelmed by the response, receiving hundreds of heartfelt nominations from pupils across the area, each sharing why their teacher deserved a special thank you.
Ten deserving winners have now been selected and have each received a Ballymena Gift Card, which can be spent in over 100 businesses across Ballymena town centre, along with a beautiful bouquet of flowers as a token of our appreciation.

Congratulations to all of our winners, and thank you to every teacher, classroom assistant and member of school staff who works tirelessly to educate, inspire and support our young people throughout the year.
We’d also like to say a huge thank you to the all the pupils who took the time to nominate their favourite teacher or member of school staff. Reading your thoughtful messages was a real privilege and a wonderful reminder of the positive impact our teachers have on the lives of children and their families.
Thank you also to everyone who chose to support local by purchasing a Ballymena Gift Card as an end-of-term gift for a teacher. Every card purchased is spent right here in Ballymena town centre, supporting local businesses, local jobs and our local economy.
We hope all of our teachers enjoy a well-earned summer break, and we can’t wait to welcome pupils and their families back into Ballymena town centre for a summer packed with fun as we celebrate Ballymena 400.
