The Ballymena Autumn Winter Fashion Show brought glamour, fun and community spirit to The Braid on Friday 26th September 2025, as the town came together to celebrate the very best of local fashion, beauty and style.
Delivered in partnership by Ballymena Business Improvement District (BID) and Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, the sold–out event was a true showcase of what Ballymena town centre has to offer. Guests travelled from near and far to be part of the evening, which featured Autumn Winter looks for men, women and children. From high street favourites to independent boutiques, footwear, accessories and beauty, the catwalk proved that Ballymena remains one of Northern Ireland’s top shopping destinations.
Guests were welcomed with a sparkling prosecco reception and entertained by the talented Rodney Beggs from The Music Rooms, setting the perfect tone for a stylish night out. One of the highlights of the show was the Community Model Section, where six Ballymena locals stepped onto the runway to share their favourite looks from the town centre. Their confidence and personality made the segment a standout moment, reinforcing that style belongs to everyone.
Adding to the excitement, a raffle in aid of DIGG Deep for Kids raised vital funds to support children and families, thanks to the generosity of more than 30 local businesses who donated fabulous prizes. Guests also left with luxury goodie bags courtesy of Rituals, ensuring the evening ended on a high.
Emma McCrea, Ballymena BID Manager, said:
““The fashion show was a fantastic celebration of our town centre. It was wonderful to see local retailers come together to showcase the incredible choice Ballymena has to offer. The atmosphere was full of fun and energy, and it was brilliant to see such support from our stylish guests.””
Mayor of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council added:
““This event was a wonderful example of partnership working to promote our town centre. The show not only highlighted the strength of our retail offering but also built real pride and excitement in Ballymena.””
The evening was curated and hosted by stylist and radio presenter Rebecca McKinney, who guided the audience through the trends with her trademark warmth and style. Her expertise and passion ensured the show was not only fashionable but engaging and entertaining throughout.
Special thanks also go to Local Women Magazine for sponsoring the event photography and Dave Martin for capturing the evening’s standout moments, to Rituals for their fabulous guest goodie bags, to the many generous businesses who donated raffle prizes, and to The Braid for providing the venue.
The Ballymena Autumn Winter Fashion Show was more than just a catwalk, it was a celebration of local talent, business, and community spirit, leaving guests inspired for the season ahead.
